Mavka's Universe. Concept of main hero - Mavka

I have created this early concepts of the main character from the animation feature "Mavka. The Forest Song". This is Mavka - the Soul of the Forest. Her main mission is to maintain the balance of all life in the forest and its protection. Mavka has an incredible connection with everything living in the forest, and especially with its source of life - the Great Willow.
Her image is based on a combination of traditional ideas about mythological creatures in Ukrainian culture with modern images of cartoon characters.
